Buy Local to Hold Media Panel
Savannah, GA Apr 10 2008 - SAVANNAH, GA – Buy Local Savannah will hold a media panel discussion at its monthly business lecture series taking place on Thursday, April 24th. This is a members’ only event being held at The Pirates House at noon. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m.
Buy Local Savannah will have an eclectic panel of marketing experts speaking on a wide range of media topics. Included in the discussion will be:
-Lynn Fairbanks/General Manager and Scott Centers/Sales Manager of The Coastal Source, WJCL ABC 22 and FOX 28 speaking on the topic of television advertising.
- Ray Williams, Sales Manager of WRHQ, Q105.3 FM educating members about radio advertising.
- Linda Jackson Foran Owner of Jackson Printing who will discuss direct mail.
- Lisa Scarbrough of eMarketSouth and Founder of Coastal Pet Rescue who will introduce the topic of Internet marketing and new media.
- Connect Savannah will represent print media.
Each speaker will present information about their medium followed by a brief question and answer session.
“Small business may not have the resources of bigger businesses,” says Madeleine Warren, “We hope to give our members some solid information on different types of marketing outlets so they are well-informed about how to spend their marketing dollars.”
The lunch is for Buy Local Savannah members only and will be held on April 24, 2008 at The Pirates House. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $20 and includes lunch, drink, and gratuity.
